Back to School Math Review | GCF and LCM Secret Message
Reviewing least common multiple (LCM) and greatest common factor (GCF) can be… let’s be honest… a little dry if students are just grinding through worksheets. That’s why I love adding a bit of mystery and gamification to math review — it keeps students engaged and coming back for more.
One of my favorite ways to do this is with digital secret message activities. Students solve a series of math problems, and with each correct answer, they reveal part of a hidden phrase. By the end, they’ve cracked the code and reviewed key skills without even realizing how much practice they’ve done.
